Redi-Roll

Roller Compacted Concrete

Concrete Built for Durability, Speed and Cost Savings.

Redi-Roll Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) is a low-moisture, zero-slump mix that road crews can place with virtually the same equipment and methods used for asphalt construction. RCC delivers high flexural strengths of 500 to 1,000 psi and compressive strengths of 4,000 to 6,000 psi, but without the forms, steel reinforcement or finishing work needed with conventional concrete. And, unlike asphalt, RCC delivers 25+ years of maintenance-free service life at prices equal to or lower than asphalt. This makes Redi-Roll RCC durable, fast and economical.

Versatile Pavement Material

On its own or partnered with asphalt, Redi-Roll has proven its value in a range of commercial, industrial and public works settings:

  • CSX Corporati on has been using it to pave heavy crane runways at its intermodal transfer rail yards in Chicago and other locations across the country.
  • The City of Columbus, Ohio has been using RCC for years as part of its composite pavement design for their city streets. While, in the Chicago area, the Village of Streamwood is beginning to use it for street rehabilitation.
  • According to the PCA, RCC has been used to construct dams, power plants, high-traffic parking lots, highway shoulders and large commercial storage areas.
  • Redi-Roll RCC is ideal wherever durability, speed and cost savings are equally critical.
